Humanizing Hospitality: Executive Bios That Bring a Brand to Life
Client: Landry’s Inc.
Service: Website Copy – Executive Team Bios
Industry: Hospitality / Food & Beverage
The Challenge
When this multi-concept restaurant group set out to revamp multiple concepts websites, they knew their executive team pages needed more than a list of job titles. With a rapidly growing footprint and a diverse leadership team, they wanted bios that felt warm, authentic, and aligned with their brand’s passion for community and culinary innovation.
The problem? The bios weren’t uniform across brands. The had differing tones, lengths and inconsistent formatting that made the restaurants websites look less professional.
The Solution
My goal was to create a consistent tone across the page while letting each personality shine through. By spotlighting their leadership style, industry expertise, and love for the hospitality industry I was able to craft polished bios that inspired trust for our guests.
Here’s what I focused on:
Voice: Friendly, professional, and brand-aligned, striking a balance between high-level experience and down-to-earth storytelling.
Tone Consistency: Making sure each bio felt like part of the same brand while still honoring each leader’s unique background.
Storytelling: Highlighting not just what each executive does, but why they do it, tapping into motivations, passion points, and values.
The Result
While we don’t have metrics to measure engagement, the internal feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The restaurant group’s marketing team reported that the bios better reflected the culture and helped bring a “face” to the brand, something that’s especially important in an industry built on personal connection and trust.
Highlights:
Transformed executive bios from dry to dynamic.
Aligned tone with existing brand voice across multiple restaurant concepts.
Delivered copy that resonated internally and elevated the brand’s online presence.
Why It Matters
Great bios are more than filler text, they’re a chance to build trust, share values, and humanize the brand. Especially in hospitality, where leadership sets the tone for company culture, a well-written bio can help tell the story behind the food.
