Words Matter.
So Does the Person Writing Them.
Creative at Heart. Strategic by Training.
I’m a copywriter and content strategist who believes the right words don’t just sound good, they connect, clarify, and convert.
I started my career in journalism, where I learned how to ask better questions, research thoroughly, and tell stories with intention. That foundation still shapes how I approach every project today through curiosity, clarity, and respect for the audience.
From National Brands to Mission-Driven Marketing
Professionally, I’ve worked across both corporate and agency environments, supporting national brands, fast-growing businesses, and mission-driven organizations.
Most notably, I spent several years as an in-house copywriter at Landry’s, where I supported marketing for a large portfolio of nationally recognized restaurant, hospitality, and entertainment brands. That experience taught me how to write at scale, adapt quickly between brand voices, and balance creativity with real business goals.
Healthcare and Senior Living Copywriting
Today, much of my agency work focuses on healthcare and senior living marketing.
I develop SEO-driven websites, long-form content, email campaigns, public relations content, social media copy, and brand messaging for more than 100 senior living properties across the country.
Writing in this space requires more than creativity alone. It requires empathy, clarity, accuracy, and the ability to communicate with people making deeply personal decisions under pressure.
My broader experience also includes professional services, B2B educational technology, and consumer-facing brands, giving me the ability to adapt quickly between industries, audiences, and brand voices.
A Collaborative Approach to Storytelling
I’ve collaborated closely with strategists, designers, account teams, and clients to create messaging that feels both human and intentional, whether that means simplifying a complex topic, refining a brand voice, or helping a business better connect with the people it serves.
Outside of client work, I’ve also contributed volunteer editorial writing for EveryLibrary, a nonprofit advocacy organization focused on supporting libraries and access to information. That experience reflects my continued connection to journalism and mission-driven storytelling.
Why I Do This Work
What ties all of my work together is a deep respect for thoughtful storytelling.
I believe great copy should do more than fill space. It should build trust, create momentum, and make people feel understood.
I’m currently booking select projects for 2026.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
I actually started in journalism. I’ve always loved writing, but I was especially drawn to understanding people and how communication shapes our decision-making. Over time, that naturally evolved into copywriting and content strategy.
-
I’m most drawn to work that has a human side to it. A lot of my experience is in senior living and healthcare, where families are often making difficult or emotional decisions. I like creating content that feels clear, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful instead of overly corporate.
-
I’m easygoing, communicative, and someone who genuinely cares about doing good work. I try to make the process feel straightforward and collaborative, whether that means bouncing around ideas, refining details, or just being someone people can rely on to get things done well and on time.
-
Honestly, it depends on the project. Sometimes the goal is straightforward, educational copy. Other times it’s finding a bigger creative idea or a brand voice that actually feels distinct. I like work that balances strategy with personality instead of sounding overly polished or generic.
